Creating a Trumpet Synth in NI Massive

With very little need for modification, it is possible to quickly and easily create a synth in Massive that resembles the sound of a trumpet.

By using modulation the wt-position of Oscillator 1 — which is a Bender waveform, we can create similar sound waves to that of a trumpet.   If we adjust the EQ’s high shelf slightly we can emphasize the high end of our synth.

By adjusting the default vibrato macro (macro 1) we can create that vibrato feeling that a trumpet has as well.  That is really all there is to this synth sound.  Tweak it and see if you can morph the sound into something totally new.
