Not one, not two, but three nasty Nero style bass synths in one mega NI Massive video tutorial! This is one you definitely do not want to miss!
Three awesome sounds for the price of one… FREE!!!
This is a seriously cool video made by YouTube user TechnoManiak1450 who has taken the time to recreate a few different Nero bass sound for your producing pleasure. A quality set of sounds and all presented in a way that allows for anyone, regardless of experience level or sound design skills, to follow along and end up with the same sounds in the end. It is also a video full of great comments, explanations and insights along the way that can help some folks better understand how different parts of Massive work and how you can put them to good use.
Some of the tutorial takes place in his DAW, which happens to be FL Studio. You can use any DAW and end up with the same results. He also uses some plugins to change up the sounds a bit. You can use similar plugins to achieve the same effects, so do not worry of you do not have the same exact same programs on-hand! There are a ton of options out there nowadays, and many of them are free. So if you do need to seek out something new to make these (or other) sounds, just do a quick Google search for either audio plugins or visit a site like http://www.kvraudio.com to run simple comprehensive searches relevant to your platform and DAW.
All three tutorials show how to produce some pretty big professional quality bass synths, and show off some cool sound design techniques that are applicable to many different music genres and instrument types. It takes time and a lot of effort to put together some good lessons like these, so if you like what he’s doing, show him your support! Consider visiting some of his links and checking out his music.
